Good evening Dolphins Parents!  We have set up a practice meet for all swimmers and parents on the evening of June 2.  This is to help all swimmers to get times for seeding in the first meet, and to give parent volunteers a chance to see the certified jobs before our first meet on June 10 against the Massad Marlins.  

Please go ahead and declare your swimmers for the Time Trials meet in SwimTopia.  If you haven't downloaded the app yet, go ahead and do it! It is your best friend during meets.  The free version works great for preparing for the meet and seeing results afterward.

We also need parents to sign up for volunteer slots for the Time Trials.  At this point, I still have not received the training verifications from RSL, so I have removed the certification requirements on the job signups temporarily. If you are anxious about signing up for a certified position, this is a great opportunity to see what the jobs are all about, and get training from our seasoned parents as well.  If the slot you are looking at is filled, just send me an email and I will add you in.

We are in DESPERATE need of Stroke and Turn Judges (only 6 have signed up so far, and we need 4 per meet!!!).  It may seem intimidating, particularly if you have never been involved in swim before, but the Time Trials meet is the perfect place to learn about it.

Finally, my family and I will be out of town for two weeks, starting this Saturday.  Sarah McClutchy (my predecessor in this role) will be graciously filling in for me while I am gone.  If I do not get back to your email right away, please contact her at [email protected].
