We are looking for reliable, responsible individuals with high energy and enthusiasm. Qualifications 1)Ability to work with children of all ages (4 years - 18 years old) 2) Willing and eager to learn from Coaching Staff 3) Positive attitude with high energy 4) Team player who is dependable and reliable. Must have transportation to practices/events 5) Ability to work in the water for periods of at least 4 hours at a time 6) Possessing (or working towards) current CPR & lifeguard certification. Certification needed by the start of the season. 7) Prior swim team experience - coaching or swimming. Able to work weekdays June - August. Responsibilities: • Ensure safety by maintaining line of sight of each swimmer throughout their swim lesson. • Teaching swimmers the fundamentals of competitive swimming by delivering impactful lessons each day. • Effectively manage lessons of ~10 children at a time. Assistant coaches will rotate planning and leading practices. • Commit to fostering important life skills to swimmers, such as self-esteem and self-confidence • Complete required training and be a continual learner. Handle all incidents in a manner appropriate to your training. • Be a consistent and dependable coach for your swimmers - they look forward to seeing you every week.
