Hello Dolphin Families!

RSL Online Training has been posted!  As we mentioned in team registration every family is REQUIRED to get ONE member certified.

Training is ONLINE and FREE. I have attached a guide to walk you through the steps for training.  Remember - you may never have to act as a certified official, however, having the training depth only helps the team.

ACTION NEEDED - FOLLOW THESE STEPS IN THIS ORDER:

1. Please go to EVENTS and click GREEN sign up for JOB Button on the “Parent Officials Certification Signup” event.
   1. Select the position you are going to train for.
2. Once you have signed up for the position you want to get certified for, go to Training Info - RSL Swimming (swimtopia.com
3. Scroll down the page and select the position training link from the list. 
   1. Complete the selected training via the EdPuzzle platform.
   2. USE THE WEBSITE NOT THE APP.
   3. You MUST answer all questions and click the SUBMIT button at the end of each course in order to get credit.
   4. If you do not score 70% or higher, you will be required to re-train.
4. Referee and Stroke & Turn have an IN PERSON requirement in addition to the virtual training. A session will be offered at the AH Business Office Conference room on Friday, 23 May at 6:30pm.
5. Head Timer, Starter, & Referee have to take the TIME DROPS training for the new timing system as well. This is a virtual session 
6. After completing RSL training, please complete and submit the Officials Training form to be considered for certification.

2. You must attach the screenshots exactly as the form identifies. This is where you will submit any US Swimming or VHSL certification waivers.

Lastly, we will provide an in-person with kids in the pool - training option for those who sign up to be certified as a Referee, Starter, and Stroke & Turn Judge. We will also have the starter equipment for new starters to practice with. This date is TBD.
